Beautiful Lucia has been the most wonderful mama and she is just as sweet as they come. This gentle girl loves people, enjoys affection, and has a calm, loving personality that makes everyone fall for her quickly. 💕
She is leash trained, crate trained, and is doing great learning her house manners. Lucia is the kind of dog who will happily be your loyal companion, cuddle buddy, and best friend.
And of course… we can’t forget about her adorable puppies! 🐶🐶🐶🐶
At 7½ weeks old, these babies are playful, curious, and full of puppy love. They are:

Update on the Parvo Pups 💔🐾
With very heavy hearts, we share that sweet Dan began experiencing neurological symptoms and seizures yesterday and sadly passed away. He has now joined his sister Daisy over the Rainbow Bridge.
This has been incredibly heartbreaking for our foster and everyone who loved these babies. Losing two sweet souls so quickly is never easy.
As of right now, Della has shown no symptoms, and we are praying with everything we have that it stays that way. She continues to be closely monitored.
Emergency parvo treatment and hospitalization is very costly, and this situation has resulted in a large unexpected veterinary bill. We are also hoping to privately cremate Daisy and Dan together so they can remain side by side forever.

🚨Update on our Parvo pups 🚨We wanted to share an update on the three puppies currently hospitalized and fighting Parvo.
Sadly, despite the incredible efforts of the veterinary team and receiving every possible treatment including plasma, monoclonal antibodies, antibiotics, fluids, and dextrose sweet Daisy passed away. 💔
This virus can be unbelievably aggressive, and even when everything possible is done, sometimes their little bodies just cannot overcome it. Daisy was deeply loved in the short time she was with us and we are heartbroken by this loss.
Della is still doing well, which we are so thankful for. She continues to hold steady and we are praying she keeps moving in the right direction.
Dan is showing some small signs of improvement, which gives us hope, but he is not stable yet and remains under close monitoring as the team continues supportive care.
Parvo is a devastating illness and these puppies are receiving intensive treatment to give them every chance possible.
Please continue to keep Della and Dan in your prayers, and please also keep Daisy in your hearts today.

🚨 URGENT: DELLA, DAISY & DAN NEED OUR HELP 🚨
Less than two weeks ago, Della, Daisy, and Dan came into our rescue hoping for a bright future. Tonight, they are fighting Parvovirus.
These sweet puppies had already received their first vaccines before coming into rescue and even received a booster this past Thursday, but they suddenly became very sick and had to be rushed to Priority Pet Urgent Care.
(Germantown, TN)
The test confirmed Parvovirus, and they have now started treatment including the monoclonal antibody therapy which gives them the best chance to fight this virus.
According to Dr. Bishop,
• Della and Daisy are currently stable, which we are very thankful for.
• Dan is struggling more right now. He arrived very weak and has continued to decline. His white blood cell count is extremely low, and he now needs a plasma transfusion while receiving fluids and dextrose to support him.
Our veterinary team is doing everything they can to help these babies recover.
As you can imagine, emergency hospitalization and parvo treatment is extremely expensive, and this was completely unexpected for our rescue. The cost will likely reach several thousand dollars to give them the care they need to survive.
